The first week of may honors two groups of professionals: nurses and teachers. National Nurses’ Week takes place between May 6th and May 12th. National Nurses’ Day always occurs on May 12th, because that date commemorates Florence Nightingale’s birth. National Teacher Appreciation Week starts on May 7th and ends on May 11th, with a National Teacher Day observance that occurs on May 8th. You can count on our experienced Marco Island Florist team to help you choose floral gifts for the teachers and nurses that have impacted the lives of you and your loved ones.
Flowers are the ideal gift for a teacher or nurse. Our Bright and Cheery flower arrangement is a compact design that bursts with color. The cube-shaped vase lends itself well to the corner of a teacher’s desk or a nurse’s workspace at a communal nurses’ station. We chose yellow lilies and vibrant colored Gerbera daisies. Nurses and teachers do so much for people, and they’re rarely if ever honored. You don’t need to deliver a message with words when you have the bold colors of the lilies and Gerbera daisies to make a declaration of gratitude on your behalf.

Marco Island Florist encourages you to participate in these two week-long national observances to honor people whose tireless dedication and constant positivity transforms the lives of everyone they encounter.
