Southwestern Florida residents are lucky enough to escape the wicked winter weather conditions that people in the northern parts of the United States face. So while our northern neighbors are clamoring for warmer spring temperatures, we’re basking in the delicious warmth that draws snowbirds to our area. As much as we love living here, we do miss out on one thing – spring flowering bulbs. We don’t have the cold winter temperatures that bulbs need underground. Luckily for area residents, Marco Island Florist has a wide array of spring flowers you’ll never see growing in the ground here.

Our Springtime Bouquet will fill your home with cooler temperatures (if the Southern Florida heat is too hot for you), or warm you up if the air conditioning cooled your home or workplace a bit too much. We fill the bottom of our tall clear glass cylindrical vase with pieces of clear glass. Yellow tulips and gorgeous pale blue hydrangeas are the stars of this display. Solidago adds an element of texture, and long thin dark green leaves offer contrast. A vase full cut flowers that are traditional to spring will give a workplace or home a warm and inviting feeling that you can’t capture with cut flowers from your backyard garden.

The Marco Island Florist team loves the climate we live in and wouldn’t trade it for anything. And we love being able to enjoy the flowers that our northern neighbors might see in their spring gardens, without having to endure the harsh winter conditions before spring arrives.
